We are a New kind of Pharmacy...
We left the conventional big corporate chain stores to save ourselves from constant pressure of the target matrix. It was hard to wrap your head around achieving targets, when it comes to prescription medications, and moreover that's not why we went to school.
This particular model we came up with is like the old school pharmacy, where the pharmacist knows the patient and the patient understands the pharmacist. Giving purpose to our skills and helping us enjoy what we were to do for the rest of our lives.
One of the main reasons for the small independent pharmacies to dwindle, was pricing. How can we achieve better price efficiency compared to bigger franchises . Drug supply being regulated in Canada, small or big, all of them have to purchase only from a few regulated suppliers at a standardized price. Thus the answer was, to not become a part of the traditional franchise model. By not being a part of a franchiser we essentially do not have to share our profits in return for using their brand name. Instead we pass that benefits towards the patient, keeping our prices low by cutting out the middleman. Moreover we can keep the products we believe in, can choose to have a smaller store size etc... all of that further reduces the over heads. Such strategies have helped us gain anywhere from 30-40% efficiency.
But good prices were just the beginning. A nice lounge with a giant TV with funny videos awaits you, while you get your prescriptions. We want customer service to be the culture of our Pharmacy, efficient service and being an aid when it comes to certain communications/interventions with your Physician. Helping with choosing better alternatives , treatment regimens and clinical questions is what we are here for. And yes we are a 100% Pharmacy, we might not have the groceries but your medication regimen is more important and in better hands under dedicated experts rather than grocers.

Aki has wide range of experiences,
from working in an Apothecary
in New Zealand, being a Production Manager at Natural Cosmeceutics to a Public Health Professional
in Saskatchewan. As a Locum Pharmacist, Aki has worked in 52+ stores, all over BC. Later becoming Pharmacy manager in a Compounding Pharmacy on mainland . Now he works for Tablet
as the Pharmacy Manager
and as a footman during evenings and weekends for his little daughter Aara.

full force as a Pharmacy Assistant.
She has varied experiences
from being an architect to working as
a Pharmacy Assistant at Rexall.
With two full time jobs (first as
a Pharmacy Assistant at Tablet and second as a mother), we find it curious
as to know how she gets the energy
to be an early riser.
